Optimum Recruitment Group are recruiting for an immediately available, temporary, Purchase Ledger Clerk to support the team to cover long term sickness. Role initially for 4 – 8 weeks.  The opportunity is based in Leeds City Centre and the expectations is for the successful candidate to be based at their covid safe offices.

You will be responsible for supporting the team with a backlog. Duties include:

  • Raising and inputting invoices.
  • Coding and verifying invoices.
  • Matching and batching invoices.
  • Dealing with queries.
  • Bank and supplier statement reconciliations.

You must have purchase ledger experience to be considered for this role with the following attributes:

  • Experience of working within a high volume, fast paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Must be friendly and approachable.
  • Have the ability to prioritise workloads, work to deadlines.
  • Manage time efficiently.
  • You must have strong numerical skills, and a high degree of accuracy with data.
