If thats the case Optimum Recruitment Group are proud to be working with a privately owned insurance business based in Rotherham who are looking to appoint an Office Junior to the team.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is an entry level opportunity working within the general administration function of the business with a clear training plan into the credit control department due to an upcoming retirement.

The purpose of the role is to meet the business administration requirements including support of internally based sales administration and support on claims when required, in line with FCA regulatory requirements.

Your duties will include:

  • Managing & distributing all incoming and outgoing post.
  • Photocopying, filing and scanning company documents.
  • Taking minutes in meetings.
  • Helping company employees with email correspondence.
  • Maintaining office supplies and equipment, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Supporting the Managing Director with document preparation, formatting, and editing/general admin duties.

You need to be able to:

  • Input information accurately and confidently into company systems.
  • Adhere to all business policies and procedures and ensure compliance with FCA regulations across all business activities.
  • To confidently communicate with colleagues and Insurance Companies to gather information.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record keeping of all business activities in line with business requirements, policies and procedures and FCA regulatory compliance.
  • Actively encourage and engage in improvements that can made to the operations of the business as and when required.
  • Confident in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Undertake any other activities as requested by the management team as and when required.
