HR Manager - Wakefield (WF)

Optimum Recruitment Group are proud to working exclusively with this engineering/manufacturing client based in Wakefield who are looking to appoint a new HR Manager to the business.

We are looking to speak with experienced HR professionals who have a passion for delivering a full generalist remit as you will be responsible for providing strategic and hands on operational HR support, advice and guidance for the full employment lifecycle. 

You will ideally come with a demonstrable background of operating in an owner managed or SME environment, have the ability to work closely with the CEO and board team to deliver the company strategy.

You will manage, coach and develop an HR Assistant and also be responsible for some wider business processes (outside of HR). 

Our client is looking for someone with the following qualifications and experience:

  • CIPD Qualified (Level 5 / 7 or equivalent).
  • Experience of working cross functionally and collaboratively.
  • Experience in advising and coaching managers on all employee relations issues.
  • Experience in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and best practice guidelines.
  • Up to date knowledge of employment law, best practice and developments in the HR world and a commitment to CPD.
  • People oriented and results driven.

You must be able to demonstrate the following skills:

  • Analytical thinker, combined with creativity, initiative, and innovation.

  • Versatile, with the ability to adapt quickly to the changing needs of a rapidly developing business.

Salary c£45-50k plus benefits.
